Independence Day

On Independence Day, I helped move cattle before my first cup of coffee.

I sat on the shady porch, drank coffee, and chatted about nothing in particular.

I helped make guacamole, strawberry pizza, and pretty hair.

I sat on the shady porch, drank Bud Light with lime, ate guacamole, and talked about the Founding Fathers, our current government, and our responsibilities as citizens to keep it in line.

I sat on the shady porch, ate a phenomenal meal of grass-fed beef, homemade potato salad, beans and Texas caviar, and yummy desserts.

I sat on a chair in the grass and watched the Rancher help my daughter and the three Cowgirls light and enjoy fireworks.

I sat on a chair in front of the campfire.

I tucked myself into bed.

Did a lot of sitting yesterday. Best day in a long time!!
